Shawna is the office manager and bookkeeper for Bergel, Magence LLP.  She has been working with the firm since 1991 when she graduated from Yeshiva University with a BA in Psychology.  She is also a certified mediator.

She also spends much of her free time volunteering in leadership roles for a variety of community based organizations.  She is co-editor of the best selling cookbook “Gatherings”.

Frederik Hatsav has been a member of the firm for over 5 years and is Hy’s Bergel’s assistant.  Fred’s main role is to meet with the new clients.

Wanda Rose-Pickells spent fourteen years working in the insurance industry, the last  twelve as a claims adjuster.  Wanda joined Bergel, Magence LLP in January 2009 as a Law Cerk specializing in accident benefits claims.

Wanda’s inspirations are her three children.  Two of her sons cope with disabilities and as a result, Wanda is involved with the Special Olympics organization.

Stanley is a paralegal licensed by the Law Society of Upper Canada.  Before joining Bergel, Magence LLP, Stanley spent a number of years working within an in-house legal department of an international insurance company.  His inside knowledge of the workings of the insurance industry are impressive.

Stanley has obtained considerable experience in handling FSCO arbitration proceedings as well as litigation proceedings before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice – Small Claims Court.

His current practice focuses on accident benefits files with an emphasis on arbitration proceedings.

Tanya Annarilli is a Licensed Paralegal at Bergel, Magence LLP. She has developed a unique level of expertise in the area of personal injury, mainly motor vehicle accident claims. Experienced in the Dispute Resolution Process, she represents motor vehicle accident victims at Mediations and Pre Arbitration Hearings before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.

Tanya has been with us since 1998.  She graduated from Humber College with Honours as a Law Clerk in 2001. Licensed with the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Paralegal since 2008. She is also a Commissioner for taking affidavits in Ontario.

Tanya organizes charity events within the office.

Andrew Bergel graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2001.

He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario.

He practices in the areas of personal injury with a focus on motor vehicle accident and slip and fall injuries as well as product liability, dog bites, civil assault and disability insurance litigation. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association.
